Award-winning culinary show ‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ is getting a third season, in an announcement that came hours after its second season came to a close. Here are the details.
‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ gets a third season
It has been an eventful day for Apple TV subscribers who are into culinary shows.
Just as ‘Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook’ premiered with a two-episode combo, and ‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ aired its second season finale, the company confirmed that the latter will return for an eight-episode third season.
‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ is hosted by Topjaw’s Jesse Burgess and executive produced by Gordon Ramsay. Each season tells the story of several restaurants around the world as they compete to earn, retain, or increase their Michelin Star ratings.
The show premiered on Apple TV in 2025 to a perfect 100% Tomatometer score and has since been nominated for a BAFTA Television Award in the Factual Entertainment category, and won Best Popular Factual Programme at the 2026 Broadcast Digital Awards.
With eight episodes in each season, the show has taken viewers inside some of the world’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Brazil’s Evvai, the first in Latin America to earn three Michelin Stars, and Ynyshir, a two-star restaurant in rural Wales.
